Last updated: 2026-09-09

Data controller

The controller is a private individual who runs MyITWorld on their own account — there is no registered company behind the service. You can reach the controller in all privacy matters at kontakt@myitworld.pl.

What data we process

Account data (username, e-mail address, profile picture), the content you publish, the declarations you make (terms acceptance, age confirmation, cookie consent) and basic technical logs.

Purposes of processing

Providing the service (accounts, forum, blog and social features), safety and moderation of user content, and handling reports and legal requests. Planned features — newsletters, payments, analytics, marketing — will each get a separate legal basis.

How long we keep data

Account data is kept while the account exists; consents and legal-acceptance records are kept as proof of compliance. Reports are kept for as long as needed to handle them and to secure legal claims.

Recipients

We do not sell your data. Hosting and e-mail providers support the service as processors under data-processing agreements.

International transfers

If data is processed outside the European Economic Area, transfers will rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can access, rectify, export or delete your data, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority (UODO).

Children

The service is not offered to children under 16 without the consent of a parent or legal guardian (GDPR art. 8 as applied in Poland). Areas with content intended only for adults — strong language, gore or violence — additionally require an 18+ confirmation. Pornographic content is not allowed anywhere on the service.

Security

We apply technical and organisational measures such as encryption in transit, access control and audit trails.

Changes

We will announce material changes to this policy before they take effect. The version and date above always reflect the current document.
